Modern craft worked with Moey inc and Blue Telescope to create a medical testing model with the ability to visually track the injection location in a real time digital 3D environment. The purpose of this model is to train physicians in the deep injection of Botulinum toxin to relieve chronic pain associated with muscle related conditions in the neck.

Modern Craft set the aesthetic direction, designed the physical hardware and mechanics, consulted in the creation of the physical model and designed a 3D print to integrate sensors with the syringe. Sensors, programing, computer hardware and electronics by Moey and Blue Telescope.

The travel case doubles as a work-height stand. Designed to be as light as possible, it is constructed of an aluminum frame with composite panels. An aluminum carriage holds the upper torso and custom monitor mount. A lever in within the carriage’s center hand hold releases the carriage which lowers on a linear bearing into the case.
